The length of the appropriate skate board or deck should be adapted to the body size. Smaller people should prefer lengths between 28' and 30'. The taller people should choose surf skate decks around 33' to 36'. This ensures an optimal stand on the deck in order to get as much pressure as possible on the rear axle.
